iOS 9.3 Jailbreak

The jailbreak community has been waiting, quite patiently, for a jailbreak for some months now and patience is starting to wear a little thin. One of the possible reasons why there hasn’t been one is because of the number of updates released by Apple to fix a lot of bugs, possibly patching exploits along the way. We have heard a few rumors over the month, not least one from 3K Assistant who claimed to have a jailbreak for iOS 9.2. That claim was retracted when days with no further explanation. So it wouldn’t be surprising if the jailbreak community didn’t believe the rumor of a jailbreak that we heard at the start of July. Add to that the number of video and photos we have seen from developers in the last couple of month, showing later versions of the iOS jailbroken and it is easy to understand why people are becoming somewhat annoyed.

Worry no more because today we have a new jailbreak for iOS 9.3. It’s called PPHelper and it was released out of the blue with no warning. However, unfortunately, not all of you are going to be able to use this jailbreak.

  • 32-bit device owners are left out in the cold as PPHelper only supports 64-bit devices
  • Mac users are also out of luck at this stage because the utility only supports Windows for now – if and when a Mac version is released, we’ll let you now.

Supported Devices :

One of the reasons why the utility only supports 64-bit devices is possibly because they are the largest number of active iOS devices. Apple is gradually removing support for the 32-bit device and they are expected to fall off the end completely in the next few months. These are the devices that you can install PPHelper on:

  • iPhone 5S, 6, 6 Plus, 6S, 6S Plus, SE
  • iPad Pro
  • iPad Mini 2, Mini 3, Mini 4
  • iPad Air, Air 2
  • iPod Touch 6

Installing iOS 9.3 Jailbreak :

There are three methods to installing iOS 9.3 jailbreak on your device.

Stay Tuned for iOS 9.3 Jailbreak from TaiG :

  1. Ok why do we keep switching jailbreaks one minute were working 9.2 and now all of the sudden since 9.3 is out you exspect taig to just drop everything and work on that now LET THEM FINISH A JAILBREAK FIRST SO WE CAN WNJOY IT

    1. Taig have said the next Jailbreak they release is for 9.2-9.2.1
9.3 came out yesterday. And Luca Jailbreaked 9.3 using the same code he used for 9.2.1

    2. THANK YOU “dude”. Im so tired of them jumping around and changing there minds.they should Just pick one and stick with it!!

    3. BUT what if taig stopped working on 9.2? We can update our phone (since it is not jailbroken) and jailbreak 9.3 so more features and hack ;) no offense tho :p

  2. Just finish the 9.2 Jailbreak for the ones who were waiting for it! All you’ve been doing is building up hype and excitement and replace it with frustration because the first beta, which doesn’t even have much significance, was released. Give us something! We’ve been waiting patiently and I’m not waiting for a stable version to come out, you guys trying to jailbreak it, and the iOS 9.4 beta being released. Just please, PLEASE finish the 9.2 Jailbreak. Thank you.

    1. I guess you don’t understand how the releases work. First of all, they do not have to release one in the first place, so be grateful, donate a little, and stop complaining. When they release a new firmware, previous work halts, and they work on a version that will support the newest version everyone can download. Why would they throw out a jailbreak with valuable vulnerabilities every time Apple patches them with minor security updates? Use your head and think before you make a fool of yourself again.

      1. so, can you answer why Pango they released the jailbreak tool for ios 9.1, even is worse than 9.2.1 on what you named “valuable vulnerabilities??”

  3. possibly. But if he has done , it is only one available update online . nobody seems to release any new information about the progress

  4. I am sure it will be worth the wait calm down everyone these guys are just trying to make there hard work pay off for the long term just be patient they are doing there best I am sure of that

  5. Make Sure Your Heart Is Working Good Jailbreak Is Going To Release Upto Ios 9.2.1 Next Day After This And We Will Release Two Jailbreak One For Ios 9.1-9.2 And Second For Ios 9.2.1 (For Security Reasons)

  6. Stop saying Apple “killed” or heartlessly took away pangu 9. Apple didn’t kill it. They did their job and made the iOS secure again….

  7. These jailbreak teams have up to December to get one out and keep me at Apple or I’m just going to upgrade to an android because they already have a lot of features

  8. *This site SERIOUSLY needs to apply dates to all of their posts, updates and articles. I received this ‘updated post’ via email today 2/18, but it appears as though much of this information is old or incorrect.*

Firstly, ios 9.2.1 HAS been released to the public! What are they talking about?? As of yesterday 2/17 my iTunes offered a 9.2.1 download.

” …Apple had seeded two iOS 9.2.1 betas, suggesting that iOS 9.2.1 would be the next public release. However, the version number 9.2.1 has been apparently abandoned today by Apple, ”

Why does it seem like we’re being toyed with? These posts couldn’t be more confusing in regards to when they were posted, which ios version they are working on and if 9.2/9.2.1 is going to be a part of the next jailbreak (or are they just jumping to 9.3).
I’ve been constantly reading the updates on this site but every update is more of a step backwards and provides less information as to what’s actually going on. I genuinely appreciate the hard work done by the TaiG crew, but whomever is handling the updates and writing the articles is leaving everyone with more questions than answers.
Just so we’re clear…. ios 9.2.1 WAS released to the public and has been available for download for weeks! Cydia’s site even offers a download of the ipsw if you don’t want to download from iTunes for some reason.
Should we all be planning on updating to 9.3 or should we update to 9.2.1 while Apple is still signing it???

  9. If they are going to jailbreak the next version, why would they jailbreak 9.2.x?? Who wants to stay on 9.2.x with Night Shift, and updates to 3D touch coming out? Those of us on 9.2.x have basically the same phone as iOS 9.x, just not jailbroken. If TaiG gives out their secret to the public, of how they broke 9.2.x, and even 9.3, then apple will know and FIX IT!!

I just bought my iPhone 5s, and if I have to wait for my jailbreak to come out, I’d rather wait and get 9.3..

They say that TaiG used the same exploit to break 9.2.1 as they did 9.3, so the odds are, you won’t have to worry about which version of iOS to be on, (in case you miss apple’s signing window;) but, they aren’t going to release the jailbreak for 9.2.1 until 9.3 comes out. In case you are one of the unlucky ones that updates to 9.3 and has issues with slowness, or your proximity sensor not working, it would be smart to release jailbreak for 9.2.1, so I don’t think we need to worry about what version we have, as long as it’s not 9.1..

  10. Hey guys! The next jailbreak (iOS 9.2.1 or 9.3) for all devices is a dream only! It is not realy! The current news of Taig or Pangu are old! :((

  11. Yet again… (sigh) this article contains no publishing times/dates, yet it landed in my inbox as an updated article…. and has the comment I posted 5 days ago.
This is the minor/tiny/easy request and should have been part of the website build from the get-go.
Best of luck on the jailbreak, we’re all looking forward to it…whichever one it ends up being!

  12. Still don’t see a ‘post date’ or any sort of identifier on this ‘updated’ article. It’s almost like they don’t (or can’t) actually read the comments. Even if just the tiny bit of new info was dated…that would be great. Just sayin’…
Here’s to hoping 9.3 comes with a shiny new jailbreak!

  13. In a month comes 9.3.1 and later 9.3.2 and in six months they start with ios 10 beta 1
wait and wait…. This is for shure my last I-device.

  14. Hurry up with the ios 9.2 jb please
I had ios 9.1 and nobody was supposed to jailbreak it, so i updated, then pangu comes out with one the day after… WTF. I just want to jailbreak my ios 9.2 device

  15. I hope everyone knows that Apple just release 9.3.1 forget about all this the JB community is gonna always be one step behind face it 9.3 came out n so did the JB for 9.1 see my point ok.

  16. Yeah, I though they would target the latest firmare but when apple always releases updates its becoming difficult

  17. Lmao. Quick, download a web link to our site so we can continue to get more hits. Don’t delay! $uc& this nonsense.
