iOS 10 Jailbreak Update :
iOS 10 has proven difficult to jailbreak and, as a result we just one jailbreak utility to use. It’s called Yalu Jailbreak and is limited to the iPhone 5S up to the iPhone 6S Plus, leaving a large percentage of the jailbreak community without a jailbreak. Luca Todesco is responsible for Yalu and has now told us that it will not be updated beyond iOS 10.2, hinting that things have just gotten too difficult with the iOS to continue. That said, with iOS 11 now in the spotlight, maybe Taig team will step up with a new utility that will keep some of us going over the summer while the new firmware is being worked on.
iOS 11 Jailbreak Release Date :
With iOS 11, there is no chance of any iOS 11 jailbreak [ext link] being released until after public release in September. We may have had the odd beta jailbreak in recent years but they have never been stable, have always been patched very quickly and can only be used on limited devices. Quite apart from the effort required to build a jailbreak such as this, Taig are going to be busy looking into what can be done for the public release of iOS 11, not one of the beta releases.
