Apple has recently pushed out their latest update, the iOS 11.2.1 download [ext link] and it is available for all users to download right now. Questions are now being asked, given the lack of jailbreaks since iOS 10 was released. In fact, only one has been released in the last year and that was Yalu jailbreak, a utility that was limited to certain devices and that has left many users unable to access their favorite tweaks and apps through Cydia. We know that we should not expect a jailbreak but that doesn’t make the absence of one any easier to bear, and neither does the absence of any communication by Taig Jailbreak team.

With no jailbreak in sight right now, we could all be forgiven for thinking that Apple has finally won. We’ve seen demos of jailbreaks and we’ve heard the promises that one will be released at any time but, so far, nothing has materialized. Add to that the fact that teams like Taig, PP, and Pangu seemed to have fallen out of the jailbreak community altogether and it isn’t looking very promising. Luca Todesco may consent to updating Yalu to support iOS 11.2.1 Jailbreak [ext link] but that is not a definite and is certainly not something we should pin our hopes on.

Another possibility is an iOS 10 jailbreak, built on an exploit that may have been forgotten now that Apple is focusing on iOS 11 and, while that will be great news for those who couldn’t update or chose not to update to iOS 11, it won’t help those that did. It isn’t the end of the world though, as we do other choices.
Alternatives to iOS 11.2.1 Jailbreak :
Jailbreaks may be at a real premium right now, but we are not left without any options. Several developers have released app installers that each bring some of Cydia to us and a few other apps and tweaks but without having to install a jailbreak first. The two app installers below are both good choices and both have iOS 11.2.1 support:
TutuApp is a great choice of alternative to a jailbreak, offering quite a diverse range of content. You can choose from some of the more popular tweaks from Cydia, some of the best modified++ apps, like Spotify++, Snapchat++ and Instagram++. There are modified games like Pokémon Go++ and plenty of premium content not found anywhere else, all alongside the paid app store apps for free. For more information, and a full TutuApp [ext link] download guide, click on the link.
AppValley is another very popular Cydia alternative. Not only does it offer all the paid content you could possibly want for free, it also offers apps and games modified with premium features, apps that you won’t find in any app store anywhere and some Cydia content and everything has been sorted into useful categories to help you. And, if that weren’t enough, all iOS devices are supported along with most Android mobile devices too. Click on the given link for a full AppValley download guide.
So, with no jailbreak in sight for the foreseeable future, these Cydia alternatives will help out with some of your favorite content. We will keep our ears to the ground for any iOS 11.2.1 jailbreak news and all you need to do, to be the first to hear about it is follow us on Facebook
