The jailbreak community has crowned the TaiG team as the ultimate jailbreak leader, thanks to the jailbreaks that the team recently released for iOS 8.3 and iOS 8.4. However, we all know that the TaiG tool is full of errors. Many users are not able to jailbreak their iOS devices using the TaiG tool, as there are driver errors coming up or the progress is getting stuck at some mark. The most popular TaiG tool error of all is the progress stuck at 60% error. Users experiencing this error have reported that the jailbreak process starts normally, but after reaching the 60% progress mark, it just gets stuck and does not move forward. This has caused many iOS users to be restless, as all of them want to get their hands at their favourite jailbreak tweaks immediately.

It is a fact that the TaiG tool is full of errors, but we must also not forget that every time some issues have come up with the tool, the TaiG team has worked day and night to fix them immediately. This is evident from the fact that TaiG, right from version 2.0, has kept on releasing updates for the tool to fix the errors and make the jailbreak more stable while trying to add new features or/and updated Cydia to the updates. And keeping up with this attitude, the team has once again listened to the pleas of the unjailbroken users and has gone ahead to release the version 2.4.1 of their tool.
TaiG 2.4.1 , which was just released today, is a bug-fix release and is still only supported in Windows. It fixes the error of getting stuck at the 60% progress mark while jailbreaking with the TaiG tool. This surely has brought relief to all those users who were not able to jailbreak their iOS devices with the earlier versions of the tool. However, users must note that the 2.4.1 version is a beta release, so only use it to jailbreak in case you have not found success with the previous versions of TaiG. So in case you need to use the TaiG 2.4.1 jailbreak, you can download it from the link at the bottom of this article .
Official Change Log of Taig 2.4.1 :
- Fixed the error of jailbreak getting stuck at 60% progress mark based on the feedback by users.
- Improved and optimized the stability of the jailbreak process.
This new TaiG update has just come after the 2.3.1 version was released a few days before with the 1.1.20 version of Cydia pre-bundled in it. In case you have jailbroken your device already on iOS 8.4, then you do not need to use this latest beta update of the TaiG tool. You only need to ensure that your device is running TaiG 2.3 untether package from Cydia including all the fixes and updates till date. The package can also be found on the default Telesphoreo repository of Cydia.

Apart from the TaiG update, we also received a Cydia update from Saurik, and the version 1.1.22 is now available. It is an important bug fix, so make sure you update your Cydia for the same. The TaiG 2.4.1 beta does not come with this updated version of Cydia as of now.
