Taig iOS 10.1.1 Installer Release Date :
We don’t have any definite news on that for you but we do now that Taig and Pangu are both working hard on the next Taig and Pangu iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak [ext link]. With the latest update only just out, we can’t expect to see an iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak just yet as they will need time to look into it. Bear in mind that they won’t just be looking at iOS 10.1.1 though; they will also be comparing it to iOS 10.2 to see if it is worth releasing an iOS 10.2 jailbreak now or if it is better to wait. iOS 10.2 is going to be a much bigger release, containing several new features, many of which are aimed at the iPhone 7 Plus.

But, why does it take so long ? After all, Luca Todesco has already proven to us that Apple’s new Rootless system doesn’t really work because he managed to jailbreak both iOS 10 and iOS 10.0.1 within a few days of release so what is the holdup with Taig and Pangu? The answer lies in what the jailbreaks are being built for. Todesco only had to jailbreak one or two devices to prove that the vulnerabilities existed whereas Taig and Pangu will need to ensure that an iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak works safely on millions of different iOS devices. That is no mean feat and it certainly isn’t a five-minute job so, quite rightly, all they ask is that we remain patient while they do their work.
iOS 10.1.1 Jailbreak Release Date :
We have, perhaps, become a little spoilt in recent years with jailbreaks being released quickly and with alarming frequency. Unfortunately, although Rootless didn’t stop jailbreaking, it has no doubt thrown a spanner in the works as far as mass jailbreaks are concerned and that is going to slow things down considerably. All we can do right now is advise you to hang on to your PPHelper jailbreak if you still have it and not to update until we can give you definite news on the iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak.
